The 16th annual art fair of local artists presented by Artists’ Circle, Textile Center and St. Catherine University will be held on Saturday, July 12, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at St. Catherine’s on the triangular green space at Cleveland and Randolph Avenues.

Highland Park bike tour AUG. 12
Meet at the Highland Park Community Center on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. for a 1.5-hour neighborhood bike ride. Participants will go at a slow pace and make stops at recent and future transportation projects, talking about how to make Highland a better place to live, bike and walk. All ages welcome. Hosted by HDC’s Transportation Committee.
FROGTOWN ARTS FESTIVAL AUG. 16
The theme for this year’s Frogtown Arts Festival is Legacies Feed Future Flowers. On Aug. 16, from 1-8 p.m., the street outside 825 University Avenue will explode with art, food, and music, and flowers. This year, the event is set to recognize those in Frogtown and Rondo who are leaving a legacy. Nominations are now open for locals to suggest honorees, whether young people still planting seeds in the community, or elders who are watching their legacy flower. The Frogtown Arts Festival is a collaboration between the Frogtown Neighborhood Association and 825 Arts. After over a decade of work, 825 Arts will be opening their freshly renovated building to the public for the first time at the festival.
