St. Paul Pride

St.Paul held Pride June 10 from 10am to 8pm at Rice Park. Families, friends and couples gathered in the park to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community in Minnesota. Music performances encouraged the crowd to dance and celebrate. Over 30 vendors, businesses and organizations promoted their business, offered resources for the community and displayed their support. 

Kyle Rucker of Ruck B Media organized the event; the first Pride event the team has put on. A large goal of Rucker’s is to provide opportunities for young black and bipoc entrepreneurs and artists to represent themselves, and receive compensation for their work. Rucker intended the space to be a safe environment where all are welcomed and invited to be a part of the celebration.
