Mayoral candidate forum set for Sept. 17

The League of Women Voters of Saint Paul (LWVSP) is proud to announce the 2025 Mayoral Candidate Forum at Johnson High School on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, from 7-8:30 p.m.

The forum is open to the public and will be live-streamed and recorded by St. Paul Neighborhood Network (SPNN). The forum will offer the public the opportunity to hear directly from candidates for the office of mayor as they present their vision for Saint Paul. 

The moderator will ask policy questions, some prepared in advance and some submitted by the general public. "We encourage members of the public who wish to submit a question prior to the forum to send their questions to lwvstpaul@lwvmn.org. We will also take questions from the live audience via notecards submitted to our facilitators," say organizers. "Questions must be respectful in tone and applicable to all candidates."

To maintain the neutrality of the forum space, audience members are asked to refrain from wearing partisan or issue-based campaign material in the auditorium. This includes shirts, buttons, hats, and other political paraphernalia.
