Free food and meals in the Midway

Zion Community Free Dinners
Pay what you want/can, no one is turned away. Vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and corn-free meals. Dine in or take out. Bringing your own take-out containers is always encouraged. Cash contributions are accepted on the day of the dinners. Contributions can be made with a credit card via emailed invoice if you preorder.
 
Half of all contributions will continue to go to support the Zion Lutheran Church Food Justice Initiatives and Thursday afternoon Meal and Food Distribution.

• Tuesdays, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Thursdays, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., 5-8 p.m.

Midway Project
The Midway Food & Empowerment Project is a resident-led initiative established in May 2020. During near-weekly distributions at the Hancock Recreation Center, the Midway Project have supplied the following:
• Baby Care Items
• Personal Care Items
• Household Items
• Shelf-stable food

Wednesdays, 12-2 p.m.
 
Open Hands Midway Meal Program
"Freely we receive, freely we give" Open Hands Midway is a local nonprofit that offers free weekly meals. They offer a nutritious hot meal, fresh produce and bakery items FREE to people in need.

Located at 436 Roy St. N in St. Paul
Dates and times:
• Mondays, 12-2 p.m.
• Wednesdays, 12-2 p.m.
• Food Shelf Tuesdays, 12-2 p.m.

St. Stephanus Monthly Food Distribution 
Every third Thursday of the month, St. Stephanus Church and their partner Second Harvest Heartland, distribute groceries. All are welcome, no requirements needed.
Their items changes each month but typically you'll find:
• Shelf Stable Box (a mix of things like peanut butter, rice, beans, tuna, etc.)
• Seasonal produce (apples, carrots, onions, potatoes, etc.)
• Bonus items like chicken, milk, and bread
