WILDER OPENS MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC
Wilder is excited to announce the opening of its new Wilder East Clinic, located at 445 Etna St, Suite 63. This expansion is a direct response to the increasing demand for mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) services, particularly among children and adolescents. The Wilder East Clinic will provide comprehensive mental health services delivered through culturally responsive, multilingual care. The clinic will connect clients to a broad network of support services, offering affordable care options tailored to individual needs, parent education, and family support groups.
 
NORTH END COMMUNITY CENTER
Community members gathered on Saturday, April 12 to celebrate the grand opening of the $30 million North End Community Center. The three-floor facility has a gymnasium, fitness center, dance studio, teaching kitchen, Teen Room, meeting rooms. There are multi-use artificial turf field, playground area, sepak takraw/badminton courts, picnic areas, a basketball court, underground storm water treatment, off-street parking, paved plaza, lighting, accessibility improvements, and additional non-programmed green space. The new building is at 145 Lawson Avenue West, near the Rice Street Library and directly across the park from Wellstone Elementary School. The North End Community Center is the most sustainable community center built in Saint Paul to-date. Included in the design is an on-site geothermal well field for ground source heating and cooling and a roof-mounted solar array for on-site energy production. Beneath the park, there is enough rainwater storage capacity to hold 1,000,000 gallons of stormwater. 
 
SAFETY COALITION ALONG GREEN LINE
Metro Transit Police Department, St. Paul Police Department, Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, and Ramsey County are collaborating on the Safe and Strong University Avenue initiative focused on improving conditions along University Avenue and on the METRO Green Line.
