BLACK AND ASIAN SOLIDARITY

Posted
The Black and Asian Solidarity event, planned after six women of Asian descent were killed in a shooting in Georgia, became an event to express unity for all stolen lives after Daunte Wright was killed in Brooklyn Center. Organized by Kokoro Project, the afternoon event drew hundreds of people to George Floyd Square on April 18, 2021 and featured spoken word artists, musicians, dancers and Taiko drummers, as well as speakers from Families Supporting Families Against Police Violence who have lost loved ones to police violence.
